Vesuvius Music is excited to announce the release of Simone Denny’s cover of "Who Can You Trust?" from the Melissa McCarthy movie "Spy", originally performed by Ivy Levan. This track is part of Jaymz Bee’s Music for Secret Agents series, which celebrates spy and espionage-themed music; 007, Bond and more!

Simone Denny, the powerhouse vocalist behind Love Inc., BKS, and Widelife, brings her signature strength to this cinematic song, adding a fresh jazz-soul twist with the sizzling saxophone of Juno-nominated Alison Young. With numerous Gold and Platinum records and Billboard Dance Chart-topping hits, Simone’s versatility continues to captivate audiences. Her recent work in jazz and cinematic covers highlights her wide-ranging talent and enduring influence.

Simone will debut "Who Can You Trust?" live at Koerner Hall on October 16, 2024, during Jaymz Bee Presents: THANK YOU JAZZ.FM91.

The concert also features a special set from Genevieve Marentette, showcasing her new album Songs of ’69, as well as Gavin Hope, John Finley, Irene Torres, Adam James, Queen Mary and Serafin, all singing Music For Secret Agents.

Tickets range from $30 to $120, with proceeds benefiting JAZZ.FM91.
